Hello lovely people, I’m Kathy. Known affectionately to some as Doris (mainly by my husband). I’m a mother of two gorgeous, yet sometimes challenging small people (Elizabeth, 8 years and Harry 7 years old), a wife (to Richard), animal lover and entrepreneur (or tinker if you prefer). I would describe myself as wholehearted in life and in crisis. I’m spiritually minded (believing in everything and accepting that nothing is also possible), a self explorer, comical genius (the statement proves itself...hahaha 😇) and did I also happen to mention that I have a health condition known as Dysautonomia (not the most important part about me but certainly the most complicated aspect ). That means that I have a condition that likes to go around, buggering up my autonomic nervous system, triggering off all sorts of other conditions (I’ve written about it somewhere) and generally having a party in my absence. Sometimes this can make make the normal everyday tasks, just that little bit trickier. Some days I’m bound to a wheelchair, others to my bed but life keeps rolling and the days keep turning and the family still needs feeding. So this is my blog, about how I roll with the punches and truly immerse myself into enjoying the everyday.
